About Us
My name is Natalia, and I am a pastry chef by calling.
I have had a sweet tooth since childhood. When I was little, I dreamed of working at a confectionery factory — decorating cakes, tasting desserts, and inventing new sweets. Time passed, I grew up, and the dream seemed forgotten. I even received an education in a completely different field — I became a materials engineer.
But after the birth of my first son, Lev, something changed. My heart — or perhaps my love for sweets — brought me into the “sweet life,” and since then I simply cannot stop.
Sometimes if I don’t bake or make desserts for a few days, my hands literally start itching to create something. I find any excuse to bake again — and even more exciting for me is inventing something new.
It all probably started the way it does for many people. At first I baked just for myself and my family. Then a friend asked me to make a cake for her wedding anniversary. I still remember it clearly — two lions and three little lion cubs lying on a heart.
And that was the beginning.
Today this passion has grown into the GoldTortix confectionery.
